This is the smallest heater in this class of any manufacturer - Roughly one third the heat output of the largest model.
The difference between indirect heaters and normal (direct fired) heaters is the cleanliness of the heat output. Indirect heaters exhaust the combustion gases out of the chimney where as with direct heaters exhaust the combustion gases straight out the front of the heat mixed in with the hot air.
If you want to use a large propane or diesel heater inside (e.g. in a warehouse), indirect is the only way to go - direct heaters require venting. Indirect fired heaters also make the best marquee heaters due to the lack of fumes in the air flow.
This is diesel powered (or you can use paraffin with a minor compressor adjustment) but the heater also requires an electrical connection for the fan, the fuel pump and the internal safety systems.
