Ceramic heaters are like fan heaters except their heating systems are more efficient.
They take in the cold air from the room, pass it over the ceramic heating element and blow it out the front using a fan.
The difference between ceramic heaters and tradition coil style fan heaters is two-fold. Firstly, cost. The ceramic heater element requires less power to keep it at a sufficiently hot temperature to make the heater effective. Secondly, the temperature of the heated air coming out of a ceramic heater is typically hotter than that of a traditional coil based fan heater because the ceramic element is hotter and has a larger surface area.
The built-in thermostat allows the heater to turn itself off and on as and when needed to keep the room at the desired temperature.
It also has an oscillating feature, which means the heater will rotate from side to side distributing the heated air around the room more quickly than if it was stationary.
The heater has 3 modes: High power runs at 1500 Watts Low power is at 750 Watts And also a summer only mode where it can be used simply as a fan without using the heating element.
